About Rex:
I was born, raised, and educated in District 24. I know what a great place it is to live, work, and raise a family. I was educated at Hopewell School, Bradley Central High School, Cleveland State Community College, and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a degree in criminal justice. I received my law degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. I am a seventh generation East Tennessean.

I am an attorney with a civil law practice in Bradley County, and have represented individuals from all over Southeast Tennessee for more than 25 years. Prior to law school, I worked for Bowater for over ten years. I have been an active supporter of the Cleveland State Community College Foundation and the Boy Scouts of America. I also completed the Leadership Cleveland program at the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce.
I have the training and life experience to be an effective state representative. As your representative, I will work hard to represent all of the people of District 24 while a member of the legislature. I am confident that by working together, we can preserve and improve our quality of life.
